Pinned Up?

Just after I had taken this photo of PJ - the FOB (Father of the Bride) - we were still at home and Una the bride was still getting ready before the ceremony.

PJ pulled back his jackets lapel to show that his corsage was not pinned up but held with a magnet!

This means the flower stays in place and because of the way it was arranged it also held it the right way up too. It meant he could put it on himself without needing anyone to stick in a pin or pinning him in to the jacket and damaging the cloth.

I'm not sure how many florists offer this option and who introduced the idea, but both PJ and I agreed - as Una is his second daughter to be married, and I was at his first daughter Niamhs wedding just two years ago - we felt it was a big step forward in only 24 months!

It is probably worth asking your florist to do this for the groom and the wedding party.
