Weather to get married.....
When to get married? Big question; it involves many issues - some of them well outside the scope of an ordinary photographer however I CAN do a few things… Let’s recap: You’ve fallen in love, managed to stick together for a while now, found a nice venue, found a celebrant, cleared all the family stuff and set the day…But, but, but what happens if it rains? It may. The secret is the Camera doesn’t see the rain – only the umbrellas.
When you picked the day, did you look into the likely weather? For example, August is the second wettest month in
Your Granny would probably tell you July is the best month and indeed this photo is from Aughrim taken on 12th July 2006 and according to the weather records it didn’t rain; I agree it didn’t rain; it just tipped a TANK load!
July is the driest and warmest month on average – and thanks to the wonders of the “internet” (it’ll never catch on!) you can check the weather for your day and location using historical averages – check the weather on a particular day, each year over the last 10 years here!
